You mean a lot of "name" people vs. the Blackwater where toms of nameless characters died.

As for the episode itself... that was easily the best opener since the very first. They managed to re-establish a lot of the storylines while also setting the stage for some of the big events to come. Also: DRAGONS.

Best line of the night: "What the **** is a Lommy?"

It also ended on about as "feel good" of a note as a GoT episode probably could.
Spoiler:
but will probably be topped in that regard in the near future :pop:

Some said it was Grey Wind's pelt, but it had a head.

Some said Ned's cloak, but it had a head.

Didn't get to watch the episode yet, but I finally read the Purple wedding last night for the first time. So I'm right on track with the show and the book.

I love the Hound's use of the c-word.

Those of you that have HBO Go - it never occurred to me to actually watch the shows the same day they aired. I figured there would be an embargo of at least a few hours for PST viewers. Generally, when HBOGO isn't crashing, are the shows available as they are debuting on HBO Live?

I believe the answer is yes, and that's why it crashes at 9 PM every Sunday.

I can't hear the theme song anymore and not think of the South Park version.

I'm so juvenile.

yeah, that's the biggest whiff from the episode. this actor brings nothing to the table. though i don't give 2 craps about that guy in the book, so whatever.

I don't know why but the Hound is quckly becoming one of my favorite characters. Perhaps his language has something to do with it.

The Hound is one character that the show has made awesome in my eyes compared to the books.

You are old. But also, seeing it in the context of the whole show made it funnier.

He looks how he was written now. Honestly though, they deviated so much from the minor details of the Denarys story that I don't care either about him or who is/isn't playing him.
