Luke was far and away my favorite character in the first few seasons. Lately? Not so much.newarenanow wrote:I love Luke. He's the man.

Re: TV Shows
don't really like the community animated episodes, but I think last nights was my favorite. Might just be that they had the actual actors for Duke and Flint revisiting their characters voices, but I thought it was pretty solid. This has definitely been one of the best seasons.

Grey's.
And if that wasn't sick enough, Criminal Minds was pretty revolting in its own right, in the nature of the case presented.

The Blacklist. Best thing on basic cable.* Even if, as noted before, the FBI agents are keystone cops in suits.

Re: TV Shows
I want to watch the blacklist, but everytime I see a picture of James Spader wearing that ridiculous hat and coat (that look isn't for him), I'm immediately turned off by the show.

You're missing out if you're a fan of Spader. It's a much darker version of what he played on Boston Legal.

I also still record Person of Interest. They still keep moving the story forward where it could very easily have gotten stale.

Re: TV Shows
POI is still good, but it's been very up and down for me this season. Maybe 3 of my favorite episodes of the series, and some that haven't done much for me. I'm actually 3 episodes behind right now.

I'm not even sure what Boston Legal is? Does he wear that hat all the time?

Re: TV Shows
He wears that hat, usually when entering and exiting a room. Or sitting outside on a park bench.
Boston Legal was a David E. Kelly show on ABC from 2004-2008, starring Spader, Shatner, Candice Bergen for while, John Laroquette, and a bunch of other folks. Spader and Shatner were a pair of lawyers working for a firm in Boston. Shatners character had early stage alzheimers and Spaders was the colossal prick who always seemed to redeem himself in the end. I loved it.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Spader actually says he wears similar hats/coats in real life.

Re: TV Shows
I'm definitely behind the times... my show watching is usually just flipping through the channels and finding something I like, and I don't have any sort of schedule of watching shows weekly. Heck, I don't even have netflix myself. I just borrow my best friend's password when I go on trips.
