Re: The Walking Dead
So what's the explanation for the massively lax security at the gates?

Someone needs to post that Star Wars alien thing with the "It's a trap" tagline...columbia wrote:So what's the explanation for the massively lax security at the gates?

The Mon Calamarian supreme commander of the rebel alliance fleet demands more respect than "that Star Wars alien thing"

Re: The Walking Dead
I'm guessing they only unlock the gates when non-walkers approach. Wasn't there a chain dangling from the gate?

For the most part is was excellent... wasn't overly thrilled with the ending though.Hockeynut! wrote:Very good episode.
Overall, it was a pretty good season and served to wipe a lot of the bad taste out of my mouth that Season 3 had left.

Way too early for the Hilltop and Saviors. But marauders (issue 57) and later cannibals? Perfect timing.

I came with questions. I left with unnecessary flashbacks. TWD doesn't do finales that well.
It was a good season and there's a lot to look forward to, but i wasn't wowed

Re: The Walking Dead
If you took this first half and added it to season 3 and then add season 5 to end the second half it would be much better. Not sure how to top the mid season finale this year.

So I imagine they make anyone who comes to terminus eat right away and then explain what they ate. They are a cannibalistic cult and Gareth is the cult leader.

Re: The Walking Dead
I enjoyed the 30 out of a designated 62 minutes of the episode. Rick biting Joe's jugular may have been the highlight of the series so far for me.
I thought Rick was going to drop an epic last line, like maybe he had a ace in the hole. Something more substantial than "they screwed with the wrong people. "
Good episode though, I really liked seeing Rick process it was a trap then his following interaction with Garreth.

Re: The Walking Dead
The flashbacks of Rick attempting to "normalize" things were a great juxtaposition to becoming not too unlike a walker when he bit the guys jugular out. Another great foreshadowing was Rick explaining the snare and how to built one, as they were run into the bottleneck at the end of the episode. Those shots were herding them to the trap at the end.

Re: The Walking Dead
Question - When Rick was talking about being a monster, he said something like, "You saw what I did to Tyreese". What was that about? I don't remember anything bad happening between the two of them.

Re: The Walking Dead
The flashbacks thought me that rick cared about Carl and he wanted things to be normal.
So did the last 30+ episodes. I didn't understand the point of wasting finale real estate with well worn territory.
