Re: GIVE ME YOUR BEER SUGGESTIONS!!
they do have some good ones. Noble Pils is decent. Their Boston Lager is not bad for a lager (I don't like lagers very much). Their small batch stuff has all been pretty good.

I just assume any beer with cherry (I've seen a Bells Cherry Stout or something) is going to be bad.

I don't remember Alchemy Hour being quite as grapefruity as Chill wave, but I could be wrong. Regardless, good brew and a 4 pack was only $8.99 at Kroger.

Very comparable to the dirtwolf.
Did you try the 2xone?

I always refer to everything they put out as 'how Sam Adams does...' whatever trendy style is out there. They do lager well, but they don't do enough lager-styles anymore.shafnutz05 wrote:They've acquired some macro trends that kind of suck, but some of their beers are still excellent, IMO.columbia wrote:Does Sam Adams believe that they are brewing quality beer?

Re: GIVE ME YOUR BEER SUGGESTIONS!!
oh man... I just googled it. i must be thinking of some other cherry wheat I've had before. I've been bad mouthing Sam Adams Cherry Wheat this whole time. I sampled a cherry wheat at a bar once that was bright red and tasted like cough syrup. I thought it was Sam Adams. Guess not. Oh well.stopper40 wrote:count2infinity wrote:but it's red...

Nonetheless, Sam Adams Cherry Wheat does taste like cough syrup and is awful.

Stopped at my Market District to get some Ommegang Abbey Ale. As I was checking out, the clerk told me they were getting Fire and Blood, the Game of Thrones themed beer. In store next week.
Might have to try it.

Looks like KBS is being released next week. I'm supposed to get a call from this place in Philly when they get their shipment, but my phone number being randomly scribbled into a notebook leaves me with a little bit of doubt that it'll happen.
