The axis offensive was strong and since a limit wasn't reached they were able to launch a formidable artillery barrage on the camp rendering the allied Generals powerless this night.

Everyone ran for cover. Trees exploded over head. Dirt and snow flew in clouds. And blood poured...

When the shelling stopped the camp came together to check on the wounded and the dead.
