He has yet to draft a decent looking hockey-playing cat.

If he'd stop trading away our first round cat draft pick, maybe he would.

It did not. Very sad. RIP, Terry.brwi wrote:Geez Gaucho, can you find some more depressing things to post? These situations are just awful. Poor Matt Stajan and his family and I don't think the Terry Trafford story is going to end well either. Sucks.

I remember, back in 09, varlamov didn't know how to catch a puck. In 2014, the quirk still remains. What's the deal there?

Re: Canaan's thread of NPR chaos.
Him being a Russian does not help. Russians are notorious for having very poor catching gloves and strong blockers. Bryz, Varlamov, Bob, and Khabibulin all have below average gloves and above average blockers. Nabokov is the only current Russian NHLer that doesn't conform to this and he is not technically Russian (Kazak), but he is Russian trained.Idoit40fans wrote:Took fleury almost a decade after bein drafted. he seems to be able to track pucks with his glove pretty well. he just can't hold on to a puck. it's weird.

Nathan Horton can make history as the only player to score in a game they didn't play in when the rescheduled Jackets-Stars game is played.
Horton is out with a lower body injury and was the lone goal scorer before the game was postponed.

Mr. Hockey might not gonna be happy when he hears this news:
RIP Gordie Howe, or at least according to the latest NHL lawsuit.

I just saw the Flyers/Canes game listed for Sports South in the cable matrix. They're showing Alabama vs Mississippi State softball, instead. That's not an uncommon kind of pre-emption.

Just saw on Twitter that Shanny to the Leafs is official? Might explain why he hasn't done any of the discipline videos in several weeks.
