Would it really be wise to trade the only legitimate young winger in the entire system? And I mean *only*.

Ok, now I like him even more and am ok with the Pens getting him at any cost. If he says the same thing about Philly...I'll buy his jersey.

I highly doubt they get another goalie. Why get Bryz at all if you then plan to go get another goalie? Fletcher knows Bryz and he seems happy to have them as his guys the rest of the way.

Because if Bryz gets hurt, you have a rookie and then you have to call up a lesser goalie to backup the rookie.

Who would work with this?
I wouldn't move or touch Pouliot unless Edler is coming back, as well

To get him you might have to swap the 3rd (2015) with Despres. So it would be Bennett, Pouliot, Despres and a 1st 2014 for Kesler, Edler and maybe a 4th 2014.

So the Pens should be out getting a goalie? They have Fleury who doesn't even have to get hurt to be replaced in the playoffs, a rookie, and a guy who might not be able to play.

Yup. Both Harding and Backstrom are done for the season. Their goalie depth has disappeared, and I'm sure that's not where they want to be heading into playoffs.

I don't know what this solves for Washington, other than about $1mil back to the cap. Still very thin on the blueline.

Getting caught up...

Andy MacDonald perfect for the Flyers, and that's, well, annoying.

Dustin Penner...oh, I feel bad for him. I feel bad for anyone traded to Washington, though.

Mrs. Luongo must be happy to go back to South Beach.

I don't think macdonald is going to do anything in Philly. I'm not concerned about him at all.

Yeah MacDonald really isn't that great. Flyers fans, by and large, are extremely disheartened about that trade

Are the Phans driving you craz(ier) these days? I don't know a single one who thinks the Flyers will miss the playoffs. I find the optimism irksome.
