If Anaheim is involved, the price Shero would have to pay for Kesler just went up....

You don't know that at all. They may have two very different offers and it's Vancouver's choice.
We know nothing.

I think at this point, Vancouver might look at Neuvirth.SolidSnake wrote:John Gibson would be in that deal I would assume, unless Lack is the Canucks goalie of the future.Kovy27 wrote:Anaheim pushing hard for Kesler.

Ward, Halak, and Neuvirth are probably the leading candidates.Kovy27 wrote:I think at this point, Vancouver might look at Neuvirth.SolidSnake wrote:John Gibson would be in that deal I would assume, unless Lack is the Canucks goalie of the future.Kovy27 wrote:Anaheim pushing hard for Kesler.

Re: 2014 NHL Trade Rumors/Trades/Signing Thread
I disagree. I think Vancouver will take the best deal. If it is Philadelphia giving up 2 big pieces that will make Vancouver better now and in the future, they'll do it. No matter what the **** the Pens have on the table.pens2005 wrote:You don't know that at all. They may have two very different offers and it's Vancouver's choice.

Neither of them can hold Gibson's jock.SolidSnake wrote:They still have Anderssen and Hillermeow wrote:No way Gibson gets moved. Re: 2014 NHL Trade Rumors/Trades/Signing Thread
Chuck Fletcher announced that Backstrom has been shut down for the season. Kuemper is the starter (for now) with Bryz backing him up. Expect to see them land another goalie tomorrow, as I can't imagine they're planning on making a playoff run with that tandem.

Renaud Lavoie @LavoieRenaud
I've been told that if #islanders Thomas Vanek is traded it won't be to Ducks. #tvasports
Sounding like it's down to the Pens, Bruins and Kings for Vanek.

99.5% sure that Gibson isn't going anywhere, anytime soon. Of course, I said that about Markstrom 2 years ago.Gaucho wrote:Gibson is probably untouchable.

So Shero would acquire another allstar fwd to play out of position on his offwing?tfrizz wrote:Renaud Lavoie @LavoieRenaud

Looking like a buyer's market... I'd wait till later in the day and see who's left over to get for a steal (Camallari? Hemsky?)

I think he'd make the least sense for the Penguins among those 3 teams...the Penguins want to skate fast and don't want to score goals at the net.tfrizz wrote:Renaud Lavoie @LavoieRenaud

Darren Dreger @DarrenDreger 7s
Sources say the Coyotes and Capitals are finalizing a trade on Martin Erat. Details to follow.

Bennett, Pouliot, 1st(2014), 3rd (2015) for Kesler and Dalpe. (Base Deal)
Who would work with this?

I wouldn't move or touch Pouliot unless Edler is coming back, as wellGrunthy wrote:Bennett, Pouliot, 1st(2014), 3rd (2015) for Kesler and Dalpe. (Base Deal)

How are the Caps able to unload Erat for anything? Guess they are going to be eating some salary in that deal.
