Blues lack of deep playoff experience is going to hurt them.

LA seemed to manage. And we've just been roses since we acquired that experience.

Jagr said a team would have to talk to him about acquiring him in a trade. "I'm 42. I might just want to go home." http://nj.com/devils" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Renaud Lavoie ‏@LavoieRenaud 1m

Jaromir Jagr said he might go home if he's traded. He already got all his bonuses for game played. Total of 2.0M$. #devils

Brodeur said he doesn't know if he'll be traded. He said he would not have to be a starter to waive hi no-trade, just play more often.

If Luongo started throwing games, I wouldn't blame him. What a joke of an organization.

I actually feel bad for Loungo. What a terrible situation Vancouver has bungled.

Agreed. I feel pretty bad for him, and I was pretty anti-luongo for a long time.

The resignation comes on the heels of a disagreement about the future of Ryan Miller, who the team dealt with captain Steve Ott to the St. Louis Blues Friday for a large return package, according to Ren Lavoie of TVA Sports.

I just cannot imagine why he isn't universally loved among our fanbase. We're all just jealous haters who can't let go of the past

And I don't even dislike Jagr at all. I'm at the point of "he's not a penguin, I don't care about him" But don't ever act like he doesn't bring this stuff on himself and has for much of his career.

So Lafontaine's time with the Islanders and Sabres combined lasted about as long as the Easter Epic...

I'm sorry, I like Patty, he's a nice guy, he does a lot with youth hockey, he loves the game...but what a baby...

Tim Murray is a competent man by all accounts, it's good that he doesn't have to deal with someone mucking it up with other fingerprints...

What is the difference between him doing that and other players signing a contract with a no movement clause? There are plenty of other reasons to not like him. Telling a team that he doesn't want to be traded is not one of them.

Who, Jagr? If that quote is in fact true that's a horrible way to say it. Telling a team you don't want traded is fine, but he's bounced from team to team to team over the last few years and all the sudden saying he doesn't want to because he's "reached his bonuses" That's gonna garner some backlash with any player, let alone one with his rep.

I was always right about Jagr... and someday people will realize that I am right about Malkin and Orpik. More-so Malkin... my dislike of Orpik isn't based on his personality or mental stability at all.

You obviously don't get Jagr's sense of humor.

If one of the greatest players of all time doesn't have the right in your world, at the age of 42, to have a say in where he plays, then I don't know what to tell ya.

That's the thing, unless he has a NMC or a NTC, then he doesn't have a say in where he plays. He can be traded. If he gets traded, he should honor his contract.

And that's technically correct, and I don't disagree. But it's not unheard of for the discussion that Jagr is referencing to take place...it just doesn't get discussed in the media...
