Re: GIVE ME YOUR BEER SUGGESTIONS!!
Typically people like tap version better than bottle/can version, just in general. And if you are going with an IPA it would possibly be considerably better for the same brew.KennyTheKangaroo wrote:The grolwer thing being "hey bro, lets stop at the brewery in the hip part of town, and get some fresh beers to go" instead of just getting a six packKraftster wrote:What's the growler thing?

Samuel Smith's Imperial Stout is definitely tasty, but nothing spectacular.
Not sure I get the 93 rating on BA; seems more like an 88.

Re: GIVE ME YOUR BEER SUGGESTIONS!!
Good times were had at beer fest. I'll comment on some beers later today when I'm more sober. ![Thumbs Up :thumb:](./images/smilies/thumbup.gif)
I managed to earn 8 more badges on Untappd so I guess I did something right without really trying.![Laughing ](./images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)

Newcastle Black Ale is to be avoided.
I unfortunately have five left and I don't even know if I would want to use it for cooking.

Re: GIVE ME YOUR BEER SUGGESTIONS!!
Got a Founders variety case, dirty basterd scotch, pale ale, Centennial ipa, and Porter. All were awesome, Founders makes some great beers. I got rocked too.
Almost got a growler filled with green flash palate wrecker, but $27 was too rich for me. Anyone try that?

Re: GIVE ME YOUR BEER SUGGESTIONS!!
Centennial IPA is good stuff. I believe Corvidae described it as "tastes like west coast, goes down like east coast". Probably a good description.
I tried Green Flash's West Coast IPA last night. It was pretty good, about as hoppy as I like. The vendor was appalled that I got "just the IPA". Lulz.

I'm driving a couple hours today to take columbia sr. out for his birthday at their local brew pub. I don't have the highest of expectations, but several Czech pilsners will be consumed.
