They look pretty good to me. That was an impressive kill.

Not really that impressive when Patrick Kane spends half of it standing with the puck and not doing anything.

He left his man at the point which set up the Canada goal so maybe he's benched? Or no one but Kan is really touching the puck.

The Detroit Red Wings announced on Friday that Henrik Zetterberg has undergone back surgery and will need seven to eight weeks to recover.

So Zetterberg is basically done for the season. I can't see Detroit making the playoffs without him.

Orpik will score with a thunderbolt 3 minutes into the 3rd. Write it down.

No, I'm not stoned, why do you ask?

USA can't get near the net. Their offense consists of one shot off the rush and it's going the other way.

Looks very familiar.

The talent deficit is definitely DB's fault.

Who are we kidding, the US will get shut out. Canada's defense is airtight. This will be the biggest shutout of Carey Price's career. Being shut out by these hosers is embarrassing.

USA's defense is hanging on by a thread. I thought the Fins played Canada tougher. They were smart with the puck and patient. USA looks disorganized defensively and offensively they have nothing going. I'm not sure how much of it is USA's fault or Canada is just too good.

Sad that Latvia could score while the US will get shut out. Fire Bylsma into orbit.

"In Pierre mode" - US scores on one of those power plays, it's a different game.

USA carried play in the first period except for the Canada pp and a few minutes after. The score is indicative of the play in the game at this point, they haven't been completely dominated.
