When I encounter those people coming at me, i'll just stop and act like i'm trying to pull an address out of my phone and force them to walk around me.

if they're in front of me, walking in the same direction, it's a pain. if they're coming from the other direction, it's a fun experiment.

when my office is closed for a meeting, teleconference, or a videoconference and people still decide to knock. It wouldn't be so bad if there wasn't a rather large "meeting in progress - do not disturb" sign displayed outside my door at eye level.

Bands that think they can continue without there original lead singer. Why replace the lead vocalist whose voice everyone knows with someone else??
Stone Temple Pilots without Scott Weiland
Sure lets replace an icon with a great voice with Chester from Linkin Park. Piece of pie?? More like Piece of Crap!

Been getting over a weird cold bug. Was driving into work and started these really deep sneezes. Almost pulled over after the fifth one. Not really a pet peeve I guess, but it hurt like hell and it's a crap way to start off a morning. I don't usually get sick for this long, scared to check WebMD because I don't want cancer.

That Asian dude that replaced Steve Perry sounds as good as Perry did in the 80s.FreeCandy44 wrote:Bands that think they can continue without there original lead singer. Why replace the lead vocalist whose voice everyone knows with someone else??

But I tend to agree. Most of the time its just bad.
I heard the new STP song on the radio a while back and had no idea what it was. I liked it and was shocked to hear what it was.

Kid's toys that make noise when you push a button and when you push the button again it disrupts the noise or song and starts it over again.

Re: Your irrational pet peeves
Some bands can pull off the new singer thing, but it needs to be someone who actually fits the band.
I don't hate Linkin Park, but that dude trying to sing Wicked Garden makes me sad.

I knew there were more. Van Hagar was the one I was trying to remember. Who originally sang for Genesis? Gabriel?blackjack68 wrote:PensFanInDC wrote:Some can pull it offFreeCandy44 wrote:Bands that think they can continue without there original lead singer.
