Re: The Official Olympic Hockey Thread
This is why people stop watching hockey after the olympics.
The biggest stage, and we have canadian mentality officiating of "make up" calls and ****. Nobody understands the rules because they get applied base on score instead of the actual rules.

The officiating in all the women's games has just been abysmal.

Not exactly a dive. It was more of a "she tripped over her own feet" scenario. Basically, her foot hit the US player's leg and she tripped.dodint wrote:What a load. The Canadian dove, glad no shot.

Well, that stinks.
The prevent defense at the end of regulation does it every time.

tainted medal...
officiating was piss poor.
That "make up call" was absolute ****. No reason to make it up.
**** Canada and their maple leaf officials.

I think he meant that Kevin Dineen is a girl.llipgh2 wrote:I think a hockey coach would be more agressive in the third, and have his team play to win, not to play not to lose. Not a "women's hockey coach". Canada is coached by Kevin Dineen, for crying out loud.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Men's team just took the red eye home from Sochi after watching that deflating chokejob.

I just hope tomorrow team USA whoops on Canada because Weber will have a good goalie to shot on not unknowns from other leagues

Re: The Official Olympic Hockey Thread
Prevent defense was fine. It's just the stupid way these women play hockey. Sorry ladies, but a state champion boys high school team would destroy either of these teams even without checking.Humperdink wrote:Well, that stinks.
