I know it seems crazy, but I tend to trust Rossi when it comes to Malkin. He's pretty close with him.

Not that i trust Rossi, but LeBrun did tweet this
Real_ESPNLeBrun Pierre LeBrun
Russian journalist scolding the coach for not playing Malkin and Ovechkin on different lines. Great theater in this presser

Heard something similar on NHL radio sirius/xm this morning. Apparently the Czech team is not pleased about the non-nhl players playing bigger minutes then nhl i.e. Petr Nedved. I'm sure there is something to a NHL/KHL thing, especially with the games in Russia...

Just get this over with and come back healthy...

There's definately a different approach to the game on bigger ice but unless you took one entire team who plays together all the time then that's what prelim games are or, to get used to the bigger rinks.

Olympics:
1998 - Ivan Hlinka
2002 - Pat Quinn
2006 - Bengt Ake Gustafsson
2010 - Mike Babcock

Stanley Cup:
1998 - Bowman
2002 - Bowman
2006 - Laviolette
2010 - Quenneville

Going to assume no pro coach was behind an Olympic bench before 1998. Bylsma actually has the most realistic shot to do it this year.

Q: What future, if any, do you see for your own work and for your coaching staff? Because, you know, your predecessor was eaten alive after the Olympics—

A: Well then, eat me alive right now—

Finally made it to a TV. Scoreboard looks good but previous posts look negative. It's like I'm turning on a Penguins game.

It'd be they're going home to Russia. The money is no longer an issue.

But that's never been Geno's narrative. He wants to play against the best. I think the same can be said for the majority of these guys now.

Mother Russia perpetuates the KHL narrative to the detriment of its players, as it puts the honus of having something to prove on them.
You don't think that Radulov left for money? You think any NHL team was going to pay him 9mil/year for 5 years? He definitely left for the money. He's also a real head-case, but that's beside the point :D
