Kopecky - head
Barkov - knee

Slovenia being there and making it to the quarter finals is a pretty huge accomplishment.

Eh, they beat a broken down Slovak team and got beaten up by the Russians and the US. Then they beat an underwhelming Austrian team. I guess it's cool for them, but let's not act like it's anywhere close to the Miracle on Ice.

Looks like the US will be playing the Slovaks since the Czechs are starting Pavalec.

They had never made it to the Olympics before. It doesn't matter who they've played. They've never been good enough to go to any other Olympic tournaments.

It's huge. Like an expansion team making it to the conference finals, except this expansion team is full of AHLers in the NHL.

It may be even more impressive than the Miracle on Ice considering the number of rinks and professionals in the country.

They beat an Austrian team that has 3 NHLers on it...two of which are on the Islanders.

No offense, but your efforts to marginalize their accomplishments are rather deplorable.

And they only have 1 NHLer and 1 guy who wasn't good enough to stick in the NHL. What's your point.

When two bad teams play, one of them is going to win by default.

The Swiss are unbelievably bad at scoring. Down 1-0 to Latvia so that game might be over..

Czechs up 2-0 early.

What do you mean? I didn't mean to come across as deplorable. That's a strong word to use in this case.
