I think it's looking like we see the swiss/latvia winner at the 3 spot. But if Canada/Finland goes OT, we could be the 2 seed.

I don't get this. He could be their best player. I understand the whole veteran preference thing, but the way Malkin gets used, you'd almost think the coaches either (1) don't understand hockey, or (2) hold a grudge against him for leaving for NA.
Promotion/highlighting of a KHL player?

In which case we would see the Czech/Slovakia winner.

Forgive my ignorance, but how does the playoff system go from here? Just as far as seeds are concerned? 1-4 have byes and then who plays in the play in games?

In other news, Kunitz and Sid split up. Looks like Sid is play with Benn and Bergeron.

He did nothing in the last Olympics either. So much talent and so lacking inside the helmet.

If Canada wins, hopefully it's in regulation. I'd prefer not to see them until the gold medal game

Radulov was a pretty active contributor in the third period vs. the Slovaks. He did block a potential goal from Vyacheslav Voinov, but he was a fairly game competitor to make up for his slovenly play against the United States...

But yeah, he's a wanna-be Nikolay Zherdev which is something very few aspire to be...

Radulov somehow played more than Datsyuk today. Head scratcher.

The Comcast guide blurb for this game mentions Jokinen and Maatta.
That's a warm fuzzy right there.

If he touched it, isn't that pretty much the definition of a high stick?

And get Subban in the lineup. I want to see him do something stupid and get tossed from a game.

Add Leo Komarov with Aleksander Barkov in the "That name doesn't sound Finnish" list.
