Re: Your irrational pet peeves
All of the cars that I've used as daily drivers in my life (a Plymouth Horizon hatchback, a Jeep Wrangler with a hardtop, and my current Hyundai Elantra hatchback) have been equipped with rear wipers. Thus, I am complaining about a type of car I don't own and never have owned. Heck, no one in my family owns a sedan either (brother owns hatchback; mother owns wagon; father owns hatchback). I'm just trying to keep to the "irrational" part.

Re: Your irrational pet peeves
Move to rural 'Murrica like me and you won't get caught in a traffic jam.
I guess take solace in the idea that if you're not moving the chances of you being the last in line is pretty slim, and if you are, you won't have egress if you're about to be rear-ended anyway. But then you'd be thinking like a motorcyclist.
Also, all of my cars (German) have rear defrost. My old Land Rover had a heated windshield but a rear wiper arm, and rear defrost.
I DON'T HAVE ANY ANSWERS. (Except the practical answer to your original question)

my new one is the people who think they are experts in a certain winter sport that they only pay attention to once every 4 years.

Similarly, people who act like they care about events that are incredibly boring.

The trick to ski jumping is farting just as you jump. Gives you extra propulsion.

People who complain about 2 weeks of curling talk when there will soon be 206 straight weeks of not hearing a peep about it.

People who buy scratch tickets then stand there at the counter and scratch them. It's not a casino, it's a Circle K.

Lol. Had a Comcast tech out today. Comcast sent code updates to certain HD boxes. Problem was that the code was corrupted and locked the boxes, rendering them useless. Gotta wait another week for a replacement box. Wonder how much i'll get taken off my bill.
Thanks ObamaComcast

People at work who lie about stuff being done... only for you to discover that it isn't even close. Not really sure what they hope to accomplish... it's not like everybody isn't going to realize that they were full of **** as soon as they look at it.

Re: Your irrational pet peeves
To add on this... when people walk a few wide coming the opposite direction clearly taking up the entire sidewalk so no one can come the other way. It was terrible this morning with the ice. There are essentially two lanes on the sidewalk that are pretty ice free. I would think it's common courtesy to walk in the one on the right and leave the one on the left for people coming the opposite direction... nope. After the first two groups of people walking my direction in both lanes I stopped getting out of the way. Just walked straight for them. If they didn't get out of the way, I stood there waiting for them to get out of the way.BadHands71 wrote:When people walk 3 wide at a snail's pace in an area of specific width, aisle, sidewalk etc. RAGE! I don't walk that fast necessarily, but I like to be able to walk around people if necessary.

Re: Your irrational pet peeves
What's even worse is someone walking too slow AND not walking in a straight line. Impossible to pass them because they have no sense of direction.
