Just like Canada missed Crosby's hockey ability. 2005 draft = fail.

There was also a semi-Pirates mention at the beginning of the broadcast. Doc was talking about weather in a couple places in the US. Of course he had to mention Bradenton with the start of Pirates spring training.

Re: US Olympic Team
As suggested, Parise and Brown have switched lines. Parise with Kesler and Kane, Brown with Backes and Callahan. I like it - makes a better scoring line and a better checking line.
Martin and Orpik were paired in practice... not sure what was wrong with yesterday's pairs

They can dress an extra d man anyway, so I think the pairings are subject to change.

Well yeah but yesterday the top 4 was pretty regularly Suter-Martin, Mcdonagh-Shattenkirk. Why not use what you're going to use?
Orpik and Martin were paired on the PK though.

Bylsma may just be loading up that first pairing with our two best defenders so we can throw them out against the Russian powerhouse line every shift. When facing more balanced teams it will make more sense to split them up.

It's not like Orpik and Martin have had trouble against Ovechkin.
