Did you know summers are pretty warm in Qatar?
That shouldn't present a problem for anyone running around for 90+ minutes.
What could go wrong?

Sweden's defensemen are just too quick and too good at handling the puck for the Czechs.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Czechs don't win a single game. Latvia and Swiss are both overachievers.

How many players have played for 2 different countries in the Olympics? 20 years ago Petr Nedved played for Team Canada (as he was a citizen), and now he is on the Czech team.

Czechs need a goalie.
No clue why they scratched Pavelec.

As mediocre as Pavelec is, he's still their best goalie

Obviously the first guy they had couldn't get the job done.
Also lolworthy: Hemsky only has 1 shift.

It's refreshing to see penalties get called.

Czech has been the better team the last period and a half. So many missed opportunities.

Is Pavelec really mediocre? I don't agree with that idea at all. If he had any kind of defense in front of him in the NHL, people would think he was great.

I'm not a Pavelec fan. I agree he doesn't have much help in the 'Peg, but he is the definition of mediocre.

Not any live games until 3 am. Finland plays. I'm not sure if they will replay either of the mens games from today or not. Probably more likely to replay the US vs CAN women's game if anything.

I'm on tape delay and still in the first period. Good to know Ollie rebounded from his -2 start.
Jussi with a nice pass on the second Finn goal.

Maatta looks great on the big ice, his goal is what we need on our PP.
