The US sweater looks like it was made by a grandmother from Wisconsin.

The German uniforms look like a rainbow vomited on a winter jacket.

You put in place just a regular flannel and toboggan and thats not far off from how I dressed walking across campus in the winter for AM classes, and I was a broke college kid

Each US athlete and coach will have their own security personnel at the game.

I like the back view, it's a classic. the front was horrible, imo.

Hopefully the lines being reported for the US are not accurate...

This team has a lot more firepower than most people think:
Dustin Brown-Ryan Kesler-Patrick Kane
Zach Parise-David Backes-T.J. Oshie
James van Riemsdyk-Joe Pavelski-Phil Kessel
Max Pacioretty-Paul Stastny-Ryan Callahan

I don't really see anything wrong with them.

You have the top 2 lines with 2 guys each who have already played together, and your have Brown-Kesler-Kane to go against other teams' 3rd lines.

That's pretty damn solid. Guys who can score on each line and guys who can check on each line. Extremely well-balanced.

EDIT: I saw Brown-Kesler-Kane listed as a 3rd line on Twitter.

I wouldn't exactly call that firepower.

It's not firepower by any means, but it is well-balanced.

They're not terrible, my main gripe is putting our best player in Kane with arguably our worst.

Yeah, but if that's the 3rd line, you have Patrick Kane out against other teams' 3rd lines. Doesn't matter who he's playing with, they'll score goals.

The US isn't going to win by out-scoring teams or on talent alone. They need to spread the scoring through the lineup. These line combos do just that.

Also, there's no guarantee they won't change during/after the 1st game.

Yeah I don't expect them to stay the same, and the nice part about being in a tough group is we're going to be playing good teams early to work through the kinks. The lines I originally read on Twitter had the centers listed first (ie Pavelski-JVR-Kessel) so I was flabbergasted.

The Backes line is going to be a pain in the ass to play against, and Pacioretty and Stastny had nice chemistry at the Worlds.

Brown not scoring this year doesn't mean he forgot how to skate fast, hit, and thus open up space.

Maybe he's just been Orpik-ing himself for the olympics, because he flat-out hasn't looked good, lack of production aside.
