Agreed. He's a really nice guy though. He used to teach a youth hockey camp at the rink I worked at and he was always very friendly. We would even trade jokes about the Pens/Caps rivalry which even he admitted (at the time) wasn't one.

Aside from that, get him off the TV. His voice is like nails on a chalkboard. HE PUT THE BISCUIT IN THE BASKET!

I dont have a problem with beninati, the problem is that when i think of him all i hear is "Joe B"(sounding like one word) being said in the most annoying voice in broadcasting.

I didnt see a replay as it was the Philly feed, but how bad was the Hartnell head shot on Hedmen? I assume from Hedmen's response his helmet got broken? I wonder if the officials have a better understanding of what constitutes a 2 minute illegal head hit vs. 5 versus match penalty intent to injury, because I really don't know how to distinguish one from another.
