Look, if your so big that you don't fit in your seat unless the armrest is up. So big that you need a seat belt extender. So big that your taking up 20% of *MY* seat that *I* paid full price for, then either buy a ticket for a second seat or, YES, take one of the options that you mentioned.

I'm totally unapologetic on that point.

It's kinda funny, if you think about it. Like Trains, Planes, and Automobiles.

Totally agree on this. The last time I was on an airplane I sat in the middle next to the fat guy. Buy two seats or first class.

I'm a fat guy myself (not too fat to fit in a single seat), but I must agree. You know how they have those boxes at the gates that your bag must fit into in order to be carried on? They need a sample seat at each gate with a sign that says "Your butt must fit in this or you have to buy two seats."

Thank you. I love animals. When that commercial comes on with the starving and abused dogs, I change the channel...same with any news story about pets being hurt or kept in squalor.

But the pitbull owning community is getting obnoxious. Not every owner, just the in your face ones that are all like "SEE, SEE THESE DOGS ARE HARMLESS DON'T BULLY THEM!!! THEY'RE GENTLE!" Could be true, but I don't care. Slow clap for your dog of choice.

There are a few organizations in the Burgh here that are outspoken pitbull advocates, noble cause but what about other dogs, the mutts and dogs that nobody "wants?" Who sticks up for them?

With programmers, collaboration is usually a hilarious joke. The suits who use team-speak usually have no idea what that would mean for techies.

Seriously? Who sticks up for them? Talk to me when mutts become subjected to nationwide fear mongering campaings. Complain when people cross over to the other side of the street because someone is out walking their mutt.

The problem isn't the dogs, it's with irresponsible owners who represent a very small minority of staffie owners.

I'm perfectly happy letting them be as outspoken as they want. There are entire municipalities and counties that have banned the breed (and there is talk of a statewide ban in Texas), and it's based in nothing more than pathetic, weak-kneed ignorance. I've never been associated with the subject of such a vilification campaign, but I'm sure it's more than a little annoying. I can't imagine having complete strangers openly advocate that my dog should not be allowed to live in my city, or even that it be put down just because.

I have a friend who has a 75-pound black lab which he refuses to take to the big dog side of the dog park. Because there are pit bulls there. It's just so much :face: that it can't be articulated.

I think he's talking about people who use the 'royal we' in a workplace setting. Like when your boss calls in you in to talk about you not filling out the new TPS reports properly and says something like, "Let's see if we can't be more consistent with the TPS reports."
