Technically I think EPP should've gone first, since the small and big blind are always the last two to act before the flop.

Player to the left of the dealer goes first, so Crank was the right choice.

I call.

That's only after the flop. Dealer button doesn't matter pre-flop aside from how you deal the cards. The blinds are always last to act.

The first betting round begins with the player to the left of the big blind either putting in two dollars to "Call" the blind bet, or putting in four dollars to "raise" the big blind or folding his hand. The betting goes around the table in order until it reaches the player who posted the small blind. That player can call the bet by putting in one dollar since a dollar blind was already posted. The last person to act is the big blind.

MRandall is right, of course: Blinds always go last pre-flop.

I'm still kinda learning the little intricacies and honestly appreciate the help.

Pot: $30

Remaining cash:

Crankshaft: $170
MRandall25: $180
ExPatriatePen: $220

FLOP:

9S
QC
3C

Now I believe Crankshaft is up.
