A few (I think pretty standard) ground rules I neglected to set earlier:

Minimum bet: big blind
Minimum raise: previous bet/raise
Blinds will double every five hands

Does that sound standard/reasonable?

I thought the minimum raise over a bet was the big.blind (unless you're setting it.at this just to.make things run faster)

OK by me on the min raise issue. We'll set it to be the big blind. Thanks.

I think EPP won the hand with

8D
6H

Giving him two pair: 6s and 7s

Hahaha. This is more difficult than it looks. It's so intuitive when things are laid on the table.

Crankshaft: $190
MRandall25: $190
ExPatriatePen: $220

Pretty pathetic, guys. Haha.

Next hand coming up.

Hands have been dealt (unlike 500, but nevermind ...)

MRandall25 is dealer.
ExPatriatePen is small blind.
Crankshaft is big blind.

Pot: $15

Remaining cash:

Crankshaft: $180
MRandall25: $190
ExPatriatePen: $215

So, forgive me, but since Crank was in at the end, shouldn't he have to have shown his hand (hole cards) as well?

Also, i'm just asking to make sure, but you do shuffle between each hand right Redwill?

Sure. He was in at the end. Crankshaft's hand was

QD
KS

And yes, I do reshuffle (I put the 52 cards through random.org/lists and randomize them a standard three times before re-dealing).

Since there hasn't been much action yet, is there any objection to letting other players jump in with a $200 stake? Since it's tournament-style I originally thought no, but it's just an experiment after all. I don't know if players might think it was an unfair advantage. I can go either way (as with so many things in life).

You could just reset everyone at $200 and start over, because it's EPP.

I have no objections with a reset. (After all, it's just the inner-webz).

The only thing that I ask, is that anyone jumping in be serious about it and not ignore the game for days at a time. Unlike Warz, one individual "going dark" can really screw things up.

Believe me, I know that, especially since both our dealers in 500 apparently found better things to do with their time. Also, no name's story-writing and canaan's wrestling league both went down. And thg's abandonment killed the latest Wars game ...

It's a risk we take trying to have some fun in NHR Games.

I think games like this and 500 are less susceptible, since there's no time-pressure beyond players losing interest and drifting away. That happens and that's not the end of the world. Like you said, it's just the interwebz. We all got plenty of stuff to keep us busy.

The only thing I know how to do is to keep on keepin' on, like a bird that flew.

We'll continue this hand if anyone's interested, but RESET on Monday and see who salutes Kicksave's underwear up the flagpole.
