My girlfriend isn't from Pittsburgh and I never really said it, but for some reason in the last year or so, we have started saying it in mockery of Pittsburgh. So we both looked at each other and started laughing when he said it.

OV was actually a plus 1 going into overtime. I almost posted watch Carolina win because OV is rarely a plus player. He just can't help himself.

Without hearing anything since it happened, I would venture a guess because of Eaves' head level? And maybe no prior history? I don't know if Lupul has one or not...

Lupul was suspended for a headshot last year.

And head level of Eaves shouldn't really be a consideration, because there's little excuse for a crosscheck like that in the 1st place

So Matt Carle lost a blade, like Stamkos. The referee was trying to help him, but wasn't able to safely escort him to the bench...the Flames are on the power play and they're coming in on the rush...realizing that Carle - who is near the net, I think he propped himself up on the net - could not leave the surface, he blew the whistle just as Calgary gained the zone...

So, Lightning does strike twice...ahem...I beg your pardon...
