Anyone else's channel 11 feed absolutely horrible?
I never saw tickets sold out on ticketmaster for this entry classic an hour before gametime tickets were as low as $12 on StubHub in the hundreds

Funny how things change, but you would have to pay me a LOT of money to sit in that weather in crappy seats to watch this classic, no matter who is playing. Years ago I would have paid money to participate in the atmosphere of the winter classic.nocera wrote:Empty seats. Lol.

Filling a 60,000 seat NFL stadium is one thing, but filling 100k + for a regular season game? And the face value price was insane.offsides wrote:Funny how things change, but you would have to pay me a LOT of money to sit in that weather in crappy seats to watch this classic, no matter who is playing. Taking the novelty and exclusivity out of it will have that effect. IMO, it's not that great of an experience. As you said, the weather usually isn't great and you can't see what is happening in stadium seats. Too many outdoor games!

Now that I think of it, I was thinking of the stadium series game. 200+ per for nose bleeds. I just got an email that the LA game is dropping the price of the $250 to $190 because nobody, not even scalpers, are buying them.FreeCandy44 wrote:What was the face value of the tickets?

Even with a few noticeably empty sections near the top, this looks incredibly impressive and will look even better in video packages.

Sarcasm not apparent? Look at that snow trail on the puck! My god. When someone breaks their leg because of the ice condition, will the NHL stop with the constant outdoor games?MRandall25 wrote:And by fantastic, you mean "Holy crap there's a lot of snow"?nocera wrote:Ice conditions look fantastic. what absolutely horrible camera angles.
the only stadium game that has sold out is Pit/Chicago. the other games in north america as far as ticket sales go are a disaster.

The level of play in this game is appalling.

Re: Other NHL games 2013-2014 season
Outdoor games are a good place to go to see a bad hockey game.
That being said, I look forward to attending the game in Chicago just as much as I did the WC in Pittsburgh. They're fun to be at pre and post game.

Why even buy tickets? Just do the pre and post game stuff.Fire0nice228 wrote:Outdoor games are a good place to go to see a bad hockey game.
