Hertl finishes top 5 in rookie scoring? Yay or no.

I don't really see how anyone passes him unless he goes like 10 games without a point.

Re: Canaan's thread of NPR chaos.
Id bet money on kreider monohan and mackinnon all beating him. Barkov is more than capable of it. There are plenty of people right there a few points behind him to overcome his early surge.

He has 18, everyone else has 12. I guess of someone got on a roll they could pass him, but if he can match pace with everyone, it's going to be tough for them.

Hertl's one big game is the separation between all the rookies right now. Its not out of reach for him to get passed.

Re: Canaan's thread of NPR chaos.
I just cant see him holding any kind of pace. I think 11 in 17(the pace since 7 in 3) is probablt as good as hes gonna do the rest of the year.MRandall25 wrote:He has 18, everyone else has 12. Also mackinnon or oreilly are abou to be the number one center for colorado for a while.

The answer is clearly Chara - he's the only one that could grow a decent playoff beard.Letang Is The Truth wrote:sid is the only one getting punched in the gut?pcm wrote:

I thought that was Deryk Engelland at first glance and was wondering when we gave him to the Jackets

Its awesome seeing players talking about Guerin and how awesome he was. People glorify him and it gets pretty over the top to the point of being annoying, but he was awesome, so glad he's ushhof.

Re: Canaan's thread of NPR chaos.
Seems too easy for them to blame Bobrovsky for the Jackets' play.
The Jackets haven't put in a consistent effort for more than 1 game at a time. One night, they'll play hard and smart and win 6-0 and Bobrovsky will get the shutout. The next night, they'll have very little semblance of structure, play terribly, and Bobrovsky ends up giving up 6.
If anything, they should've put the entire Blue Jackets roster there, save for Ryan Johansen (who last year had consistency issues of his own, but has bounced back with 10 goals and 20 points in 28 games, leading the team in scoring).

@TSNBobMcKenzie 1h
NHL govs likely to get (14-15) cap projection from league when they meet early next week in California. Sounds like it may be around $70M.
