Gard to argue with the guy you won with last year. Miller should be USA's front runner as well.

He's hurt and likely won't return until January.mac5155 wrote:Quick?Idoit40fans wrote:Gard to argue with the guy you won with last year. Miller should be USA's front runner as well.

The top-4 USA goalies I would assume are Miller, Quick, Schneider and Howard.

Do you really want to take a goalie that has only played about 7 games over the previous 3 months? Eh seems risky.Crankshaft wrote:And the Olympics are in February?Rylan wrote:He's hurt and likely won't return until January.mac5155 wrote:Quick?Idoit40fans wrote:Gard to argue with the guy you won with last year. Ben Bishop in the mix as well for Team USA...might get a look as the #3 even, just for the experience if USA Hockey brass believe that he could be the starter in 2018...though, it would be tough to tell two of those guys to stay home...Crankshaft wrote:The top-4 USA goalies I would assume are Miller, Quick, Schneider and Howard.

Either way. I love Quick and did long before he was dominating, but I'd still go to Miller barring something overwhelming happening.Rylan wrote:He's hurt and likely won't return until January.mac5155 wrote:Quick?Idoit40fans wrote:Gard to argue with the guy you won with last year. I figured he would be #5 - or #4 if Quick is still too hurt to play.mikey287 wrote:Ben Bishop in the mix as well for Team USA...might get a look as the #3 even, just for the experience if USA Hockey brass believe that he could be the starter in 2018...though, it would be tough to tell two of those guys to stay home...Crankshaft wrote:The top-4 USA goalies I would assume are Miller, Quick, Schneider and Howard.
I didn't realize he was looked at as having that much potential.

He's coming into the age where he should be either becoming a career backup or taking off, and he's been on of Tampa's best players.
