I can't find much info. Must be one of those bands that made a special album then disappeared for some reason? There were quiet a few like that I came across recently. This is one of them. Just one album.
One of my favorite songs of all time at this point. Just so dreamy and beautiful.

whole album goes song by song, separately

Looks like the piano player is still active.

During the ‘70s heyday of the “Philly Sound”, Cotton did extensive studio work for Gamble & Huff, Baker, Harris & Young and many others. He appears on numerous recordings by such artists as the O’Jays, The Spinners, Lou Rawls, MFSB, SalSoul Orchestra, Major Harris, Blue Magic & The Trammps. In the 1980’s he lived in L.A. recording and touring with the Chambers Brothers. Cotton returned to the east coast and nothing but jazz in the mid 90’s.

Finished listening to the whole album. It's really good. I'll buy it on CD if I find it.

Re: Random Songs
I would really like those of you who like this kind of stuff to listen to the entire album. I don't want to keep pushing the same record over and over, but it's really really good. It's one of those where it's easy to just pass, but once it's in your collection, it's a true gem. I bought it on CD the moment I found it some time ago. There are instrumental pieces and also a guy or a girl singing lead. This here is a wonderful instrumental that takes my mind somewhere else when I listen to it.

Does Sarcastic like The Incredible String Band?
I've never heard of that Michelangelo band, but it seems similar. Certainly of the same time.

Not bad, but I really don't care much for the autoharp.Sarcastic wrote:I would really like those of you who like this kind of stuff to listen to the entire album. Re: Random Songs
I love the harp on the album and how it intertwines with the guitar to create those lush melodies. The album would have too much of a straight rock sound without that. I actually wish there was more stuff like it in today's music. Everything is so generic. And why doesn't anyone use that cool sound of the harpsichord (which this harp reminds me of) anymore other than in Neo-Classical Metal. I dunno.Willie Kool wrote:Not bad, but I really don't care much for the autoharp.
