Looks like the pressure of playing in NY is getting to Lundqvist. That was a pretty soft goal. They better go find a new goalie.

Should trade Fleury for Lundqvist. There's no way King Henrik would be anything less than the best goalie in hockey history playing behind the Pens D!

Is it sad that I thought that too when the goal went in...? An unscreened 60 footer to lose it in the 3rd...that's really the polar opposite of shutdown, isn't it?

NO WAY he'll be considered for Tre Kronor. NO WAY.

Their defense is beat up and inadequate to begin with. The lost Streit and replaced him with nobody. Their goaltending isn't any good either. Not sure how much the coach can do about that.

Fourth line is playing well for Dallas...no reason to make a change really. Chicago is playing a fast team with a mobile defense anyway...Vernon Fiddler, also and incidentally, has rescinded his trade request and now wishes to remain with the team...

Looked like maybe his knee got tweaked severely too there...I'm not sure, but Stephane Robidas is one tough customer (he's kinda like their Brooks Orpik if I had to bring it home to a close comparable) and he's half of their top shutdown pairing with young Brenden Dillon...big loss for Dallas, and one that looks like it will require several weeks at least before it's resolved...

Someone is going to pay...and it more often than not ends up being the coach.

False. Lundqvist is feeling the pressure of playing for my eternally cursed fantasy hockey team which I will never play again forever and ever.

He tried to play that pass into his skates with his blade, stepped on the puck and his leg got turned before the blade re-connected with the ice. When it did, he clearly snapped his leg about mid shin. It was flopping around when he went into the boards, and then got turned around when he did.

I am sure it is a badly broken leg. At his age, he could be done for good because that is major surgery with lots of metal.

Robidas is a very underrated player. He's played big as a smallish guy and is tough as nails. Can't play through that one though. Gruesome.

Yup, you're totally right. Really gonna be tough for Robidas...

I don't think it does though...it looks more like an illusion of that than what happened. In order for that to happen, it would have to be going through his skate like immediately off the stick.
