Well, is the icing caused by the lake?

When you are standing in line at a Sheetz (especially in the morning when it's really busy) and there is some old guy who spends 10 minutes playing the lottery despite the fact that he has nothing to do all day.

No, It occurs when a player shoots the puck across both the center red line and the opposing team's goal line...

This usually happens on the way home from work. I'll be stuck behind a slow car and truck and usually won't throw my blinker on until I'm 100% in the clear. Blinker on....nobody coming.....and the jerk who was riding my bumper whips around me into the other lane and ends up going slower than the car I had originally intended to pass. I speed up, they speed up.

I can't win. :(

I work in the marketing department of my company. Was talking with one of my directors about black Friday. I asked what we could do to maximize our efforts that day - advertising, specials, etc. He told me that "he already gets too busy" and that "his guys like to go hunting that day" so he doesn't want to do anything to bring in more customers for that day.

I wonder what my president is going to think when he asks me, "So, what is our goals for the day after Thanksgiving?".

Well, sir. We don't want to make ourselves too busy because guys like to go hunting that day.

I can't wait for the next directors meeting when they complain about marketing being the reason why they aren't hitting their projected goals for the month.

Family members who post things like "GOD ANSWERED A HUGE PRAYER TODAY! SUCH GOOD NEWS!" on FB without calling, ya know, your family first.

Sports fans that journey to the opposing team's blog after a win and go out of their way to be as obnoxiously sportsmanlike and friendly. This happens all the time, but I noticed several Panthers fans posting stuff like this on a Pats blog this morning.

- "Hey guys, Panthers fan here. Great game! You guys got screwed on that last call, sorry"
- "Hey guys, just wanted to say good game. That last call was BS, you guys could have beat us if it wasn't for that!"

It's the most obnoxious thing ever. Just be happy your team won without a pathetic plea for acceptance and love from an opposing team's fanbase. Most of these posts strike me as passive-aggressive trolling, yet people lap it up.

No not at all. I don't really like them, actually. But the whole "aww shucks good game guys" crap exists everywhere in the sports blogosphere. And people only do it if their team wins.

Pff, as a Panthers fan if I was posting on a Pats board this morning it would be "Suck it, Brady"

I was listening to some male weight loss product one of the "first person testimonials" was a guy saying he "contributed" his weight loss to the product.

Contributed? Geeze.
