Re: *** Match Game Wars Gameplay Thread ***
I keep coming back to this post.
Why does PFIDC name Crank here instead of relantel? Crank's answer was clowns, which wasn't an odd answer at all (in fact it was what I thought of), although I guess his addition of 'Hamburger-Happy' could have been an attempt to not have it count.PensFanInDC wrote:In this game the panelists answers are the only real evidence we have (so far) to use. IMO that leaves me, Troy Loney, and Crankshaft as the 3 most probable reds based on that information alone. We each gave the least probable answers as panelists therefore reducing the possible points fellow contestants earn.
I'm not red and between TL and Crank, TL gave the least probably answer as panelist (John Glenn for "what the canadians left on the moon).

I overthought it. I went to the Ronald McDonald wiki and the clown thing was what stood out to me the most. Buns of anarchy didn't make sense. I wanted to choose something that at least made sense.Willie Kool wrote:I keep coming back to this post.

My point was that rel's panel answers were far more suspicious than yours, but PFIDC avoided naming him as a potential red.Crankshaft wrote:I overthought it. Your reply here sure doesn't make me any less suspicious of you, though. You had to wiki Ronald McDonald? Really?

OK, our panelists are working on the question for this round.
Let's see who our contestant is this time.
It's Crankshaft!
As soon as our panelists have given their answers, we'll turn to Crankshaft for an answer.

Which is to say, I would deliberately try to NOT match him.

Re: *** Match Game Wars Gameplay Thread ***
so it looks like we have this:
EPP - 3 - Crankshaft, Rylan, nan
Rel - 2 - WK, EPP
Rylan - 1 - Rel
Crankshaft - 1 - TL
Looks like Pecky hasn't voted yet. And even that, we're too spread out for a majority.

The timing of Crank's vote switch off PFIDC and the fact that rel hasn't switched to EPP to save himself makes me think

OK, Crankshaft, you said "nose."
Lots of possibilities with this one. Let's see what our panelists said.
Brett Somers (relantel) said: "bosom" Hey! Our first boobs sighting of the game!
Charles Nelson Reilly (newarenanow) said: "nostril"
Richards Dawson (Pecky) said: "eye"
Betty White (Rylan) said: "ear"
Crankshaft, your nose scored 1 point!

Re: *** Match Game Wars Gameplay Thread ***
Current point totals (from panelist-contestant matches) of the remaining players:
Willie Kool - 1
ExPatriatePen - 1
Crankshaft - 1
relantel - 0
PensHckyFan79 - 1
Rylan - 0
newarenanow - 0
Troy Loney - 0
If I do another Match Game Wars I'm obviously gonna have to tweak the matching points system. Despite the fact that there have been two 3-point opportunities, the points just aren't racking up to make much of a difference.
EDIT: It doesn't help that we have had no repeat contestants. But I really am going randomly.

It wasn't as dirty as you'd think, but still dirty enough to be rejected

10 minutes to deadline. If no majority is reached, the leading vote-getter gets it.
