Seems like the Flyers way. When things go bad, make them worse.

The moves they make, signings or trades just confuse the hell out of me. From the Pronger signing to the Streit signing to the Van R trade back to the Danny Bierre trade. Buying out Bryz??? i just don't get what that franshise is up to.

I could see them throwing away huge peices of the franchise to get a impact player... Of course that impact player won't pan out but they will offer that person multimillions the season after.

I almost feel bad for them.... nawww not really.

Oilers offered three 2nd round picks for Braydon Coburn at the Draft and couldn't close the deal. Trades in season are much harder to make.
Are they serious??? (Oilers) and are they stupid??? (Flyers)
Holmgreen would just trade the picks away at the deadline for garbage anyway.

It was bad if you were a fan of another team in the East. It made them a major threat for a title...and that potential was realized immediately.

Any signing has two parts: term and dollar amount. The Pronger signing was bad in term... and amount.

The term was to reduce the "amount" - it was a good signing, even if under-handed...would have been better if the Flyers front office had bothered to read the CBA...
