Hmm...not sure where this goes. But the Panthers have fired Kevin Dineen and his staff. Peter Horachek (from San Antonio [AHL]) will take over with Brian Skrudland and John Madden assisting.

Not that i think its a travesty that dineen was let go, but im not sure how the results are expected to be much different.

Yeah, this is one of those things where you fire the coach because you can't fire 20 players. The Panthers just kind of go out there, Dineen didn't look like he had any particular control of the situation. Now, the team sucks noodles, I grant that, but still, it'd be nice if they had a plan in place. It didn't look like they did.

When you lose a lot as a player with one guy, even if you know the roster around you sucks, you still begin to tune that guy out because he's not creating a net positive. That's what happened with Dineen I'd guess...

I don't know what I would with that roster...probably something outlandish...go down swinging I guess...

It just sucks to be the guy coming in. You have way too much season left for the team to continue losing. You get nhl experience and then get to search for a job in the spring.
