That's hockey. Not sure of the point you're trying to make here.

The Kings are losing to Buffalo. So much for the playoffs for them, right? Might as well pack everything up. They're losing to Buffalo.
Yep it sure is hockey. Thanks for clearing that up for me. I was making an observation, but since you seem so interested. I find it interesting that some other teams, that most would consider far less talented offensively, were able to score and generate offense far easier than the Pens were able to against those teams. Phoenix has already had several odd man rushes. I realize no team is perfect every game and it's a long season, mistakes will happen, but it's interesting.

As for your last comment. Yeah... I suppose their season is saved now that they were able to tie the game.

Im pretty sure that he is saying that the worst offense ever is still going to score and the greatest ever will still get shutout from time to time. Mostly hes suggesting that you cant draw a conclusion from a single game.

I hope the Flyers aren't on the upswing for good. Life's more fun when they suck.

Hey, I can't watch their game vs. the Senators, but I see it's a beat down. Is it because the flyers look great or the Sens are just that bad?

It didn't make the cut on my 7:30 watch list tonight...but I'll probably catch the replay tomorrow. That said, Anderson has been rather porous this season. And the Flyers team defense has been so much improved, so keeping goals out has not been a problem for them anyhow. Their play away from the puck since Berube took over has been noteworthy.

I see the caps blew a 3rd period lead only to pull a late tying goal out of their ass and win in OT. Never seen that before ever in history

Look at their November schedule. It's a cakewalk. This is their chance to crawl back into it. December looks rough for them but their next 8-9 games or so should be all winnable for them.

Anyone else bothered by how tsn is displaying their standings?

It's nowhere near accurate. They have the Pens as the 4th seed even though they are the 2nd.

I'm not getting why that's tsn's default standing.

It's going to confuse the average fan when they lol to see where everyone is.

TSN's standings are identical to NHL.com's.

And the Pens aren't 2nd... they're 4th. Tampa, Boston, and Detroit all have more points than they do.

Not sure why ownership would allow Regeier to deal Vanek if he was going to can him 2 weeks later...

So long Jason "Cap Wizard" Botterill...

Glad to see Nolan back in the NHL. The guy is a fantastic coach, especially for a young team. If the Sabres are looking to rebuild, he's the perfect choice to be behind the bench.

Apparently Lafontaine really likes Neil Smith. He was hired when Lafontaine worked for the Islanders.

There are a lot of.options outside of the Penguins organization :pop:

Neil Smith is a good guy. It was nice having him as an owner.
