What the? Why would someone you didn't even send the email to, related or not, jump in and defend the other person? That's absurd.shafnutz05 wrote:There are these two people at my corporate office that I constantly have dealings with for review purposes. They are related, but they are not in the same chain of command, so there are no nepotism issues. That being said, their departments are closely related.
They are constantly defending each other when the inevitable snafu happens at work. For example, I sent one of them a template that had to be finalized by COB Friday. Minutes after emailing them this afternoon asking where the heck it is, I get an email from the other one telling me I'm being unreasonable and the deadline wasn't even a strict requirement anyway. It goes both ways, and it's a pretty fascinating dynamic to watch.

When a pastry product that has walnuts doesn't clearly indicate that it has walnuts. I just had a pumpkin raisin biscotti, the jar states "pumpkin raisin". False advertising, never would have purchased if I had known walnuts were involved.

Someone brought in Caramel Walnut Apple pie to work today. Says "Caramel Walnut Apple" on the box. Several walnut pieces on top.

There was no ingredient list to consult. I guess I just have to be on the lookout at Crazy Mocha for non disclosed nuts. There is some sort of nut in the "cinnamon white chocolate" as well. What baffles me is that the "orange cranberry pistacio" makes one aware of the nuts. The precedent should be to be upfront about whatever nut is in the cookie.

It did, but it was a little mushy on the bottom and that's a pet peeve of mine. I actually might be a bit concerned if ti wasn't mushy on the bottom at all... how would the crust on the bottom stay crispy when it has a "damp" medium (the apple pie filling) sitting on top of it for an undetermined amount of time?blackjack68 wrote:It did, but it was a little mushy on the bottom and that's a pet peeve of mine. Thank you George Takei.
Hopefully you misread it in my following post where I said "I do all the cooking at my house." too.
