I had clubs and spades and the joker: AC, 10C, 8C, 6C, KS, QS, JS, 10S, 5S, JKR. Probably would have lost an 8 spade bid still though.

I had both bowers and the K hearts. I thought Troy had the Joker and A. Probably should have led the 9 hearts, but I don't think it would have mattered.

I had AS and 6S and AD to help you, but probably would have lost my trump to your JOKER and JS. Like you said, we probably woulda been set.

Both bowers and the K is DEFINITELY worth upping it to 8, IMO. You made the right decision but things just didn't work out.
