Mantha is a brilliant skater with great speed. He is a dangerous scorer with a very good shot and quick release, which he loves to use. Mantha has very good size and reach and knows how to hold on to the puck. While receiving criticism for inconsistency, he has improved his defensive play and physicality. Once he adds some grit aggressiveness into his play, Mantha has the tools to become a solid top-six NHL forward. (Matias Strozyk, 2013)

Nope. Anthony is Andre Pronovost's grandson, however. Pronovost was a defensive winger who was used on some championship Habs teams in the late 1950's - notably on a line with Phil Goyette and Claude Provost.

Similarly, Anthony is of no relation to early NHL great and HHOFer Sylvio Mantha.

I'm not positive of that. I've heard cousin and I've heard brother. I don't actually know the answer. Jean, Claude and Marcel are all brothers I believe, I've heard that Andre is a cousin of those three...that said, the Pronovost's had 12 children I believe and three made the NHL, it wouldn't be at all strange if a fourth one did as well...
