(The moral is I should have led clubs when I led the K hearts - thought enough hearts were still in play to retain lead control - instead I let there be additional trump for the other side to take. I'd have still lost that trick but would have taken the high trump off the table)

if red has spades, we're sunk. If WK or TL have 10 clubs, we're sunk.

I still have the 10 clubs. I think you're set.

But yeah, i'd make sure we didn't cheap tricks with small trump cards.

Widow was 9D, 8S, 4D, QH & 9S. Not very useful to a clubs bid.

yuck. yeah, you got a bad draw. I had a string of 4 crumby clubs and WK had a couple of higher ones.
