If the stairs are reasonably located then I agree. If the elevators are in the front of the building and the stairs are in the back and you just left an office right next to the elevator I see no problem with it.

Yeah, about the only time I do one floor (even two floors) is when I have no idea where the stairs are and the elevator is right in front of me.

we are actually told to take the elevator if we are carrying something. Even if it's one hand on the rail and one hand carrying an item as small as a laptop, coffee cup, etc., they say the item in possession becomes a safety hazard if it's dropped while falling.

Going down in an elevator, you have a MUCH greater chance of having some weird stranger in there with you and the awkward silence that follows. At least going up, chances are most people aren't going to be going from the 2nd to the 4th floor in the same building. If they are, and my solitary elevator stops unexpectedly on the way up to my floor, I give them a withering stare.

States that call mortgages a "deed of trust". I have to look at some stupid list every time I need to see if it's a mortgage or a deed of trust on a property, just call it a mortgage and be like everyone else.

Isn't there a legal difference? IIRC, the “deed of trust” states are also the ones who take the title theory of real-estate purchases, and the mortgage states are the ones operating under the lien theory.

People who pull out in front of you, cause you to hit the brakes, then drive a block or two well under the speed limit and make a very casual turn into a side road or store parking lot.

Typically these turn out to be 'bluehairs' or 'old man with a hat' drivers.

Suffering through that time period when the gas pump goes up penny by penny to reach your prepaid amount. Just keep the extra 30 cents

I think the way to deal with that is to buy $40 worth of gas, then hand the dude at the register a $20, a $10, and a $5, then four $1's...

Then hand him two quarters, then start counting off by pennies... $39.51, $39.52, $39.53...

95% of the time is just fill the tank and use credit.

When its not 5% cash back on gas, I use my debit card to save the extra 10 cents per gallon. I never have cash.

Saw a woman do that at the bake shop this morning. No placard or HP plate either. Thought about calling her out on it but, it just ain't worth it.

My mother has one of the placards but that does not mean that I get to use it when I borrow her car. Nor does it actually mean that I should use it when I am driving her somewhere. I drop her at the door and go park in a regular spot.
