As I said in the Paul Martin thread, they look very similar to the US Men's Soccer team jerseys.

Who designs these? Are they trying to look as awful as possible?

I don't mind the blue one. I really do not like the white one.

Could these be any more unimaginative? I'm sorry, the jerseys are boring.

For comparison, here are new Team Russia jerseys (Nike slim-fit from ultra-lightweight polyester. The red one weighs 424 grams, the white is - strangely - heavier. It weighs 444 grams. Translate into the US weird units by yourselves.

I think Russia's look alright. Ours look tacky and stupid and cheap. Why is it so hard to just go with a simple, classic design? I didn't like the blue ones in 2010 either but they look amazing compared to these.
Sounds like all the numbers/logos are screen printed too. Yuck. I was looking forward to buying one but I just can't now.

^ holy moley; took me awhile to recognize ! Phil Kessel, right ?
Kessel and Kane could produce magic in Sochi. Or something.

I don't really like the reflective stars, but I think the Blue Jersey is awesome. The white one is ok.

Does everyone really dislike them so much? They're pretty simple, I like the crest. The 2010's were better i'd say, but these are still cool.

I like the blue. The white reminds me something EA Sports would use as a generic for National teams.

I like the crest too. Something about fake laces makes it appear tacky to me anyhow.

the fake laces and the stars on the shoulder ruined it.

The logo just looks like something from the USPS.
I know there's a joke in there somewhere about delivering checks.

I've worn beer league jerseys that were better looking than this. Actually, I don't know if I've ever worn a jersey that looks this bad.

thought Ray Ferraro's tweet about these jerseys was pretty freakin' awesome:
Ray Ferraro @rayferrarotsn 28 Aug
#USAHockey jerseys for Olympics that men-women will wear/patches for 1960, 1980 gold medal winners -wasnt there another? O yeah, women 1998
and Ray's only American by marriage!
