I took it to mean, black, as in no-future for Jaromir in the NHL.

The title of his facebook post is with a smiley face (https://www.facebook.com/68Jagr" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ). Plus he wears giant black sunglasses that would make Linda Richman proud. I'd file it under "Jagr style of humor."

Turtles on the airport runway could keep him from signing. He'll probably go to the Islanders and proclaim that Matt Moulson reminds him of Mario or some such.

With all the teams Jagr has now played for, here is my ranking of sucess for each destination:
1. Pittsburgh Penguins: multiple cups, multiple scoring titles, was "dying alive" at the end, but still undisputed that his greatest years were with the Pens.
2. New York Rangers: Was still an offensive dynamo and 68 shone bright on broadway. The team had a few good playoff runs with Jags before he took off for Russia.
3. Philadelphia Flyers: No longer the total force he was in his pre-KHL days, but the first year of mercenary Jagr was a worthwhile addition for Philly. Got the team to the 2nd round, helped young players like Giroux along, and mega-trolled Pens fans.
4. Boston: Came in at the trade deadline and was part of a good cup run, but it is obvious that he was more a spare part then a showcase offensive player.
5. Dallas Stars: Jagrs stay in Texas was brief and uneventful. Still showed enough to get the rebuilding club some assets and seemed well liked by the players and fans for his short time there.
6. Washington Capitals: Caps spent mega bucks to build around Jagr and then massively underperformed during his stay there. I have never heard a Caps fan say anything good about Jagr or his time in DC. Definite last place for his career.

Thats the list and I don't see much to argue about here. I would expect New Jersey to come in between Dallas and Washington. I dont think 68 has the goods to carry a team on his back, and New Jersey is going to be over dependent on the old man with Kovalchoo gone. I dont see his time there ending well and I dont think Devs fans in the twilight of Marty's career will be as forgiving as Stars fans were.

I'd be shocked if the Devils come even close to making the playoffs this season.

This team is bad. Like, under 75 points bad. That being said, they will most likely win the cup.
