Yeah, he's yet to put it all together, but if he does the Isles have him on a good deal. If he doesn't, well, whatever...wouldn't be the first time. They've done a terrific job of securing some of their young talent to really cheap deals (JT, Hamonic), even if they miss on Bailey, it wasn't for lack of effort...

Yeah, he's yet to put it all together, but if he does the Isles have him on a good deal. If he doesn't, well, whatever...wouldn't be the first time. The only real negative I see here is that he might be the odd man out when some of their young guys are ready for the NHL. He will still probably get top-9 minutes and contribute. With the salary cap looking like it might rocket through the roof, this deal looks great for them. Plus Snow really hasn't swung and missed, except for the DiPietro deal, which seemed more like a puppet signing controlled by Wang.
