After the death of Fillipponi, the sports media met again to discuss the recent events. Crankshaft, the skilled investigator that he was, had decided to go to the place Mark Madden would most likely be found, Club Erotica. As he walked in the door, there was Madden. Before telling everyone what he had saw he decided to wait another night to verify it just wasn't Tim Benz in a fat suit. When he went last night he saw Madden again and with him was Stan Savran. He thought this to be very odd, but knew he had two "bad guys" now. He quickly raced to the meeting and told his colleagues what he had seen. The vote was quick and once again the Sports media voted to revoke Madden's credentials.

But as they inspected his press badge, they found it to actually be

Judging by this write-up, and how things were revealed to me in the past, canaan has lost his vigilante powers but has assumed the Mark Madden powers.
