His wife and kids must like it in Bristol. I can't believe he never jumped to NHL network.Sam's Drunk Dog wrote:ESPN sucks sans Buccigross

I'm sure it's $$. ESPN money is probably more than NHL money.Beveridge wrote:His wife and kids must like it in Bristol. I can't believe he never jumped to NHL network.Sam's Drunk Dog wrote:ESPN sucks sans Buccigross

He went way down hill when instead of a column he decided to turn his weekly musings into a vlog. I tried to watch the first one, it was annoying, and that's when I quit reading anything hockey related from ESPNSam's Drunk Dog wrote:ESPN sucks sans Buccigross

Yeah, I miss Bucci's column. He was on with Madden this past week, and I was reminded that he has some enjoyable thoughts about hockey. I think LeBrun's stuff on ESPN is solid.Pavel Bure wrote:He went way down hill when instead of a column he decided to turn his weekly musings into a vlog. Re: Tweet of the day
On the general topic of NHL and TV, I'm perfectly happy with NBC Sports developing as a rival to ESPN centered on hockey and soccer. The production values on NBC Sports have come a long way since the early Versus days, and the channel is more widely available. ESPN still does a good job with actual sporting events, but I can't stand to watch Sportscenter, PTI, Around the Horn, etc., and the whole "talking heads who have ill-founded, edgy opinions talking loudly at each other" genre.
