I love Bolland's celebration. Drops both mitts and looks angry about what just transpired.

Crowds starting to go nuts near Madison and in Wrigleyville. This is the second time in my life I'm glad I get a Chicago tv station.

Lots of entertainment on the Chicago channel on the police scanner app, too. Fireworks, literally.

Re: Other NHL games
Best or second best Final I've seen in the last decade for sure. Great hockey throughout. Really great. No doubt the two best teams in the league played for the chalice...
Kane's a weak choice for the Conn Smythe considering he was invisible for 2 and a half rounds...but what have you done for me yesterday? applies as usual...
If I had to pick a Blackhawk, it would be Keith or Sharp.

So who's gonna be the first one to return the favor to a Boston bar and ask for Owen?

Re: Other NHL games
Seriously, congrats to the Hawks. It was their Cup to lose from the get go. I know Kane's a major Dbag but other than him and Carcillo I think theres some likeable guys on this team. Especially when you compare them to Boston. Chicago fans in my mind arent bad either.
But Kane and Toews having 2 before Crosby/Malkin is something that needs to change, real quick.

I'm quite pleased.
Sigh, Pens. Hope you were watching, and in the spirit of tough love, my beloved boys, I hope it hurt.
Now, back to my regularly scheduled #BUCN, already in progress...

Unacceptable that the Pens haven't win two yet with their core from 06-07 basically intact with addition of Letang as an upgrade to Gonchar and the departure of Staal.

I have no beef with Hossa. I was over him once he lost with Detroit in 2009.columbia wrote:npv708 wrote:Seriously, I'm well over the Hossa stuff and couldn't be happier for the guy.
Dude has been in 4 of the last 6 Cup Finals with 3 different teams. That in itself is kinda impressive...or it's him picking his spots.
