Yeah I get the fact that charra is eight feet tall but he follows through on all of his hits with either his gloves and stick or his elbows.marek wrote:Every single check by a bruin is a headshot under the new rules... Uncalled... Every single one

I think Eddie O just unintentionally quoted Bob Dylan.

Re: Other NHL games
Yeah, definitely a trip by Frolik on Krug that led to that goal, but in all fairness, screw Beantown, they got away with a worse call that led to an OT goal.

Bad no-call on the trip, but after ignoring everything all game it would have been akward to call that one.

Thank you.meow wrote:He said it was positioning of his glove hand. He doesn't like that Crawford uses fingers up, which is what I use and how I coach. Fingers up gives you and much better range of motion and is a more natural catching motion. Do a little test of this. Hold your hand so your fingers are parallel to the ground and your thumb pointing toward the ceiling. Now, without changing the position of your hand, pretend to catch a puck shot at your logo. Can't do it. Now point your fingertips straight up at the ceiling and move your hand around. Full range of motion.mikey287 wrote:Only caught the very end of it. If you can, please elaborate. When a goalie talks I generally listen (referring to you in this case, not Panger).meow wrote:Panger with a big swing and miss on why Crawford has been getting beat glove side. I expected better from Panger.
My thought on Crawfords glove struggles are simple. One, he has bad hands, which is a trademark of Canadian goaltenders. Two, he seems to be picking pucks up a bit late shot to his glove side. Maybe a confidence issue? Maybe over thinking? Looks like he was guessing on a few of them. I heard he took twenty minutes of glove work practice at the morning skate. The extra work seems to been paying off. Extra work like that is to build some quick muscle memory and turn movements over to your subconscious and take your conscious brain out of the equation.

Yeah, they might not call the game any way shape of form how the rule book describes it, but at least they were consistent.

Re: Other NHL games
They don't really call things with an empty net like that. Anything goes basically, and I'm ok with that.
Interesting reward for their best game of the series as a pairing so far...Oduya/Hjalmarsson out there after the timeout for the last 30 seconds protecting a one-goal lead. Not Keith/Seabrook. Not afraid to put the Hammer out in tough situations. Oduya too, despite him being overmatched by his competition quite often.

My gut tells me something like spleen or appendix. Bergy did it all himself...no stretcher or anything, walked to the ambulance under his own power, went and sat in it.

Bob McKenzie @TSNBobMcKenzie 21m To be clear, because some mook will read that and see Operation, I'm suggesting Bergeron may have a kidney problem and may or may not play.

I have had the feeling it was oing the full seven since *before* the series began.offsides wrote:I'm betting this goes 7, but I am almost always wrong.
Just a really strong gut.
When the 'Hawks / Flyers SCF started a few years back i was in Vegas and put series coin on the 'Hawks winning it in six. (last decent bet I've won). I don't have that feeling this time. I get the sense Boston will pull out game six at home and fall to the 'Hawks in seven.
What a ticket that would be.

The 'Hawks will be too busy partying with the 'Cup to get much golfing in. Pleanty of time for that after the parties are overCu11en wrote:Can't both teams golf next week?marek wrote:Get your long putter out Lurch

I figured as much. In that case, tee times start at 7AM tomorrow @ the Boston Golf Club.
