NHL 14 Cover Vote

I havent really been into EA NHL games too much lately but I was thinking about buying NHL 14 and got an email about the cover vote and I was wondering, Why is crosby not on there again? Why is it always malkin and letang? Crosby hasnt been on a cover for some reason so I was curious if anyone knows?

Does Crosby have a separate marketing deal? I doubt that, but maybe it's something like that.

I remember none of the EA NBA games had Michael Jordan in them. The Bulls were never the powerhouse they actually were in the 1990s, at least the videogame version. But NBA Live 96 had Dennis Rodman's hair changing color every couple of games.
