I figured that nothing good was going to happen a while ago and then read the spoilers for it to confirm. Pretty crazy episode. I feel like its going to ruin that part of the book when I get to it in a couple weeks. Why couldn't they break up Bran's story and the wedding into different episodes though...I feel like those were both pretty meaningful and no one is even going to remember what happened with Bran.

I knew it was coming and it was much more powerful than I thought it would be. I'm actually slightly nauseous after watching it. Bravo!

They kill her off?? Just for dramatics or what? If I remember correctly they allow her to live. Strange.

Spoiler:
His wife is alive in the books, but not really important (so far anyway). I think this was their way of getting her out of the story while making it extra traumatizing... And they succeeded.

She isn't even the same character in the book and was introduced early, and her character is only in the TV show. Just one of the differences between the book and the show.

When Martin loses interest in a character he really loses interest in a character.

Comments on the Queen...
Spoiler:
Brilliant move making her an outsider from Volantis with no ties to any house. Even better to state she was pregnant and then have her stabbed in the belly to make it even more horrific for Robb.
I can't remember the books so my memory is a bit hazy there but in this episode where was the Black Fish? He left the hall but didn't come back unless I missed it?

The Blackfish said he needed to find a tree to piss on and didn't come back. I assume it was just a plot device to get him out of the room. I don't remember him being there in the book.

HOLLLLLEEEEYYYY (%^#%. Man that was awesome. Loved the simple touch at the end with no music in the credits. Just sat there in silence with your mouth open wide.

That was pretty great. If not for the context of the scene, I may have laughed at that.

Hmm, Gaucho...

WinterIsComing.net has a roundup of reaction videos: http://winteriscoming.net/2013/06/red-w ... t-on-tape/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I watched 1-2 and didn't hear anything profane, but some may have some NFSW language.

Funny, funny stuff.

I just couldn't believe how Robb just stood there while...
Spoiler:
his baby and wife were being slaughtered. Was this to show how naive or unprepared for leadership he was? Or just for dramatic pause? Same with Lady Catelyn at the end. There's several seconds before she gets hers where she just stands there. Has she given up at that point and accepted the inevitable? I always thought she had more fight in her.

Robb was shot within second of his wife being stabbed, wasn't he?

As for Catelyn, she'd definitely given up. Her husband was murdered. She thinks her two youngest were burned alive. Then she just watched her oldest son, his wife and her unborn grandchildren get slaughtered in front of her eyes. I think that would take the fight out of pretty much anyone.
