Doc Emerick
Doc's kind of a spaz, but he's a better announcer than many others. What do you guys think of him?

This thread can simultaneously have two different conversation strings. Awesome.
Personally I think emerick is the best american national play by play guy there is. The dude from Vancouver I believe is my favorite.

Lol, yeah I meant the announcer. I'm sure the Doc on here is cool too, but I don't know him personally.

One of the best definitely. Was even better as the Devils guy with Chico, but really, really good.

I like Doc.
He's even better for sports where he doesn't really know what's going on, because he can make it sound exciting (Olympic Water Polo)

Re: Doc Emerick
I like him. The only time he kinda annoys me is when he goes on weird tangents gushing about something (traditions, handshakes, etc.) and it sounds like he is reading a script.

Re: Doc Emerick
Root should have sweetened the pot and told him he could call a few Pirates games if he came to do Pens games.
He would have signed right then and there.

I like him. It's just one of those voices when you hear it now, it is a big hockey game.

Re: Doc Emerick
I really like Doc Emrick. He tries to stay above the fray when calling a game. Which is hard to do considering he's usually stuck with Edzo and PeeAir on national broadcasts.
